Holidays with JORD

With the holidays right around the corner, the time for gift planning and shopping has already arrived! What a stressful time this can be. Maybe you aren’t sure what someone might like or want, and ladies let’s be real, as much as we’d like to think we are the best at giving gifts, it’s still hard shopping for a guy!
With that being said, I’ve partnered with JORD Wood Watches for the holidays. The perfect gift for him, her, or yourself because you deserve something nice! JORD has an incredible selection of styles of watches with a diverse range of woods, colors, sizes, etc. I really mean it when I say there is something for everyone. Take it from someone who has never owned or worn a watch before and wasn’t sure if I’d like it….I love it!

It was also one of the most nicely presented gifts I have ever received. It came in this wooden box, around a little pillow, and with all the cleaning and maintenance supplies you’d need for your watch. I chose from the Frankie collection, the Zebrawood and Champagne style. It’s a perfect staple accessory for everyday wear, super comfortable on the wrist, and really fun to dress up or wear casually. At first, I had no idea how to get it off (blonde moment) but then I realized how easy the clasp is to work...a simple little push of a button basically - so simple!
I styled my watch in a casual and cozy, but slightly dressed up look. This is usually my go-to when I am going to some type of "nicer" show, event, or dinner. I love wearing my olive suede dress from Forever 21 with my over-the-knee black suede boots from Target. And of course, with the breeze of New York City a knit cardigan (American Eagle's are always my fave) and blanket scarf are a must!
Make sure to check out all of the classic, trendy, and unique wooden watches that JORD has to offer when it comes to shopping for everyone, from the girl on-the-go to the busy business man in your life!

Style Inspo | Gigi Hadid

Gigi Hadid is my biggest style inspiration and if you know me, you're probably well aware of that. She just kills the game in street style, event looks, and being a designer herself. I literally have a "Gigi" Pinterest board. Maybe I'm a little obsessed but if anyone is cool enough to have an entire board of pins dedicated to them, its her.
I've been admiring her fall/winter fashion for a while now, (I seriously wish I had her closet) so I wanted to share some of my favorite looks of hers and ones you can totally get inspo from and try to recreate yourself.
So here are 10 fab looks Gigi has rocked. I've also tried to find some similar pieces for less $ so those are linked too!

Black Friday - My Picks

It's almost the best day of the year...Black Friday!
The only time I can go out shopping at 5 PM on a Thursday and come back sometime Friday morning. Black Friday is basically another holiday for me and I'm so excited to get out there after dinner. I have some ideas of what I'd like to grab, but I basically pulled anything I thought was worth it (fashion wise - I don't do electronics and all that) from some ads and put them all together for a little guide!

I'm really trying to get one of those chenille blankets!

Macy's obviously has a ton but Tommy, Calvin, and Adidas loungewear are definitely on my list to check out and the beauty deals look pretty good too!

Kohl's may not be your go-to place to shop but I'm not going to lie, the Lauren Conrad stuff is so cute and I always found they had the best selection of boots I like because I'm so picky!

Update: Ulta's site (at least on my phone) is being weird and where it has the black friday ad with all the deals, a ton of them say sold out? Not sure, but I'm sure things are still around in stores & will be back in stock online!
See all their deals here!

PINK

$25 bras?! YES PLEASE!!

Last Minute Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

Thanksgiving is the perfect excuse to throw together a super cute fall outfit. Sweater weather is here and if we're being honest, we're going to need oversized and comfy clothing to accommodate our full stomachs, while looking good for your family, friends, and Instagram!
This is a very last minute post but that's because I wing everything, but this has definitely inspired my family dinner look.
These are easy styles for inspo to use what you already have, or go crazy because these looks are under $100 with the exception of the 3rd which is under $150!!

Look #1

If your dinner is more laid back and chill, a cute sweater and jeans will do just fine. Add some statement accessories and you'll be good to go! This  off the shoulder copper colored sweater looks like something I'd want to live in and with the folded over neckline you might even be able to turn it into a cowl neck. These AE jeans are the newer version of my go-to pair, I love the classic dark wash. For the accessories, I'd like to show you one of my favorite products Old Navy has now - these metallic gold booties to spice up any outfit! Tassel earrings are also one of my favorite trends right now. I think they make a great but subtle pop!

Look #2

This one is my favorite. I wore a really similar outfit last week for an upcoming blog post. This is definitely cozy with all the layers and perfect for looking put together while you fall asleep from the food coma. This dress is a simple fit and flare dress that comes in this beautiful rust color and an olive green - perfect for fall! A knit cardigan is my favorite staple piece this time of year and if it has a hood and pockets, I'm even more excited. If by chance, you don't own a blanket scarf, I HIGHLY recommend getting one ASAP! I mean, it's a cute scarf and a blanket in one, can't go wrong with that. To add to the whole layered look, I love wearing knee or over-the-knee high socks under my tall riding boots or my suede ones.

Look #3

This dress also comes in gray and black and it just looks so comfy! I got so excited when I went over to Target and saw their collection of new shoes, so trendy, including these mules that perfectly match the dress. You can also throw on a pair of black tights if you want to add a little contrast. Target also has a partnership with SUGARFIX by BaubleBar so make sure to check out all the amazing (and affordable) jewelry they have now, like the cuff bracelet and these druzy stone studs I really want to get my hands on!

Sweater Weather Faves

Since it dropped like 20 degrees randomly in NYC, that means it's finally sweater weather! I mean, I was wearing some sweaters before but never without getting too warm at some point in the day.
Sweaters are great to have in all colors and styles because all you have to do is throw them on with leggings, jeans, a skirt, maybe even over a dress, and you instantly look cute...it's that easy! Not to mention they're super cozy.
I personally am obsessed with sweaters with "fun sleeves" as I like to call them. Basically, huge bells, bows, ruffles, anything. I like my sweaters to be a little extra (like me)!

I don't know about you guys but I've noticed stores like Forever 21 and H&M have upped their prices a lot. Maybe the quality is getting better, maybe they're just doing it for kicks, who knows! But I do know that F21 has a lot of labeled merchandise that isn't the Forever 21 brand. I always like to look at these higher end products on the site and they're usually really flippin' trendy!
So I decided to do a little online window shopping, for my future mall travels and for you. I picked out what I think are THE best, cutest, fabulous sweaters online at Forever21.com & linked them below.
We got some fun sleeves, cool textures, pretty colors, and cute details that are the perfect touches to a staple sweater!

Leave a comment if you have any of these & let me know if they're worth getting! Also, let me know what some of your fave sweaters are that you can't get enough of :)
