In case you missed it, I'm back in school at FIT for one more year and today was my last first day of classes. That means it's time to say goodbye to summer vacation and start organizing that agenda.

Remember those pics of Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid wearing silky pajama sets out with their heels? I was inspired. I loved this navy silk top from Forever 21 and they also sold matching pants and a jumpsuit of the style. I never bought a piece until I found it on sale for literally $4 and I thought, 'okay, nows the time!'

My mom and sister thought it was a little weird but then we saw almost an exact top in Abercrombie on the mannequin so I got to show them I wasn't crazy. It's actually the comfiest thing to wear, even on hot days because it's super light and airy. I tucked half of the front into a pair of denim shorts and threw on my white platform sneakers (Steve Madden Berties) but didn't get any good full body pics that day...

Lately I've been loving the color combo of blue and pink, so I added my new pink mirror shades from F21 and pink Steve Madden crossbody bag.

I'm just all for trendy tops and clothes with a little sass so I can't wait to style this piece more!

Lavender & Lace

MBM Unlimited Dress // Wedged Sandals (exact style has limited sizes) // Sunnies (similar style)

MBM Unlimited is a dress shop that has a dress for literally any occasion you could possibly be going to...except maybe your own wedding. They gifted me this eyelet lace, off the shoulder number; perfect for summer and living up all the white before Labor Day! The elastic around the top is so tight (in the non-painful kind of way) that I don't have to worry about the dress sliding down or riding up. The material is super comfortable too, I could wear this dress all day!
The eyelet design is so pretty and I'm seriously so obsessed with the sleeves and their little flares.
I paired the dress with some Tommy Hilfiger wedged sandals from T.J. Maxx that are also comfortable enough to wear for hours. I always drive by this little lavender building downtown and now I finally got pictures in front of it (talk of a blogger) so I matched it with my purple mirrored shades from Forever 21.

My First Maxi

Maxi Dress & this one (similar styles) // Denim Jacket (similar) // Aersole Sandals // Sunnies // Steve Madden Crossbody (comes in other colors)

I never thought I could wear a maxi dress or skirt because I'm only 5'3" but apparently I've been missing out. I saw this really pretty one on the sale rack at Target and I just had to try it on. Maybe it was just the pattern but I felt taller in it ironically. I love the neckline, the little trimming, and of course the colors. It's also super comfy which is awesome for work. 

Since it just hits the floor, I wore my flat Aerosoles that are basically clouds for your feet, and threw over my new Ci Sono denim jacket I found at T.J. Maxx (my new go-to every day).

I also just went on a shopping spree at Destiny USA in Syracuse. Maybe I'll do a little haul post a little later because I got mostly things for fall. Anyways, while I was there I found this adorable blush colored Steve Madden crossbody for only$20!! The inside is pretty big for what it looks like too.

You know those vintage colored sunglasses that are very much in right now? Or those retro oval ones? Yeah well apparently I can't pull off any of those. I was bummed out but I found this oversized pair in Forever 21 thats like a clear pink/purple and has mirrored lenses which is just what I like...can't have the boys knowing I'm staring at them right?
