Shooting Stars

I loved anything to do with the moon and stars before it was a trend, now there's just more to buy! One of my favorite pairs of shoes (looks wise, not so much for comfort/ability to walk) are these velvet star booties from Steve Madden. I had my eye on them for months until they finally went on sale and I scored a pair in my size along with the matching bag (not pictured).
Another thing I love is metallics. I always wanted that vintage Tommy Hilfiger metallic silver puffer jacket so when my sister saw this windbreaker, she got it for me. It's fun to style because it's way oversized on me and when I got it I knew I had to wear it with those boots.
I felt like a total space girl, shooting off into the new year!

What I Got For Christmas

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Now it's time for all of the post-holiday sales, right?!
I wanted to pull together most of what I got into a post to share. Some things are still on sale! Of course, I got a couple items that didn't work out so I'll be making exchanges. Also, excited to thrift store hop this upcoming week for all the new things that will be dropped in!
Quick Haul...

Adidas Cloudfoam Sneakers (the comfiest!)

Isabella M. Moon & Star Necklace (find this brand at T.J.Maxx / Marshals)

Similar to what I got:
to wear a little off-the-shoulder with cute bralettes! I got one in a grayish-purple.
Velour Tommy Hilfiger Flag Logo Crewneck (like Gigi's minus the hood!)
+ I got the collectable Tommy X Gigi Barbie :)

Last Minute Holiday Looks

Happy Holidays everyone!
If you're like me, you still don't have any sort of outfit planned for your holiday get-together with friends, family, work, etc. I usually just throw something together the day before but I like to look around on Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration ahead of time, to see looks similar to things I own that I could recreate. I'm also not one to dress up a lot, especially for just a family gathering where I'll just be playing with children, so I love to put together simple and comfy outfits that are still super cute and put together! With that being said, let's go into the 4 looks I put together for some last minute inspiration and if you see something you REALLY love, you can shop it!

I'm a lover of sneakers, especially cute trendy ones (hello, Steve Madden!) so this look is right up my alley. I love the knotted detail on the t-shirt dress and I'll never say no to a pop of velvet or metallic gold to spice things up!
SHOP IT:
Knotted Shift Dress (comes in black) - $42
Steve Madden Burgundy Velvet Slip-On Sneakers - $50
Metallic Gold Crossbody Purse - $30

I've been loving these wrap tops that remind me of ballet-wear. The perfect little accent to a simple top. Pair it with pants or a skirt and some cute loafers or mules (been loving these too!)
And again, there's the optional pop of metallic for a little extra something!
SHOP IT:
Wrapped Up Burgundy Sweater - $42
A-Line Black Mini Skirt - $29
Metallic Moto Jacket - $38
Black Suede Bow Mule - $70

I think this is my favorite look of the 4. I'm soooo obsessed with this dress from Target and at that price it's like, do I buy it for the possible future occasion where I'd wear it before it's gone?! The velvet, bell sleeves, big bow, it's just everything trendy and cute in one! I think this would look so fab with over-the-knee black boots, or the taupe to pull together with the bow! These boots are also a great staple pair of shoes to own.
SHOP IT:
Velvet Holiday Bow Dress - $28
Steve Madden Over-The-Knee Suede Boots in Black or Taupe! - $75

Finally, look number 4 is super fun! These metallic joggers, currently on sale at GAP, are the piece that defines comfy and cute! Since they're a bit bold, I'd pair them with a simple tee or bodysuit in black or a pop of red for Christmas. Then there's these adorable heels from the WWW X Target collection that I love to make it a little more dressy. This look can also double as a great New Year's Eve look!
SHOP IT:
Metallic Jersey Joggers (on sale!) - $55
Simple Long Sleeve Crew Neck Tee - $7
or
Simple Crew Neck Bodysuit - $10
(both come in red and black!)
Who What Wear Embellished Heels - $40

Keep an eye on my Insta to see what look I pull together for Sunday!

"This is a story about a girl named Lucky..."

If your friend asks you to model in an oversized Looney Tunes tee and red beret, with a touch of Italian charm...you can't say no. *Outfit styled by Kristen, I take credit for owning the jeans.
This was a look for her final project but I wanted to share the pics on here because it was such a fun outfit to wear, though not completely my style. I love these jeans I got at Brandy Melville a while ago, they're a mix of mom & boyfriend style jeans and make any outfit cuter. Graphic tees are always fun to dress up too. The beret hat was a little tricky but looks cute in pics and honestly kind of made the whole look. Then Kristen just loaded me up with bling, wearing like 8 different rings, but it was fun!
An exciting look, styled by my bestie, that got a lot of stares and laughs.

Holidays with JORD

With the holidays right around the corner, the time for gift planning and shopping has already arrived! What a stressful time this can be. Maybe you aren’t sure what someone might like or want, and ladies let’s be real, as much as we’d like to think we are the best at giving gifts, it’s still hard shopping for a guy!
With that being said, I’ve partnered with JORD Wood Watches for the holidays. The perfect gift for him, her, or yourself because you deserve something nice! JORD has an incredible selection of styles of watches with a diverse range of woods, colors, sizes, etc. I really mean it when I say there is something for everyone. Take it from someone who has never owned or worn a watch before and wasn’t sure if I’d like it….I love it!

It was also one of the most nicely presented gifts I have ever received. It came in this wooden box, around a little pillow, and with all the cleaning and maintenance supplies you’d need for your watch. I chose from the Frankie collection, the Zebrawood and Champagne style. It’s a perfect staple accessory for everyday wear, super comfortable on the wrist, and really fun to dress up or wear casually. At first, I had no idea how to get it off (blonde moment) but then I realized how easy the clasp is to work...a simple little push of a button basically - so simple!
I styled my watch in a casual and cozy, but slightly dressed up look. This is usually my go-to when I am going to some type of "nicer" show, event, or dinner. I love wearing my olive suede dress from Forever 21 with my over-the-knee black suede boots from Target. And of course, with the breeze of New York City a knit cardigan (American Eagle's are always my fave) and blanket scarf are a must!
Make sure to check out all of the classic, trendy, and unique wooden watches that JORD has to offer when it comes to shopping for everyone, from the girl on-the-go to the busy business man in your life!
