OSCARS WITH THE BLACK TUX

It's officially Oscars weekend!
With that being said, it's time for some major fashion-talk!
For this post, I'm working with The Black Tux to put together some red carpet looks featuring their tuxedos.

First, I'm going to share 3 of my favorite looks from last years Oscars and pair them with outfits styled from The Black Tux.

Now, I'm going to take 3 more looks from The Black Tux & pair them with looks from my favorite spring 2016 couture collection, Zuhair Murad. These are styles that I would wear to any red carpet event and that I could definitley see appearing at the Oscars this year!

WEEKEND GETAWAY PREP

#TravelThursday?
I'm writing this blog post as I last minute pack for my weekend trip home & to the city.
It's been a pretty busy day so I'm basically just throwing everything I like into a few bags.
I made this packing list earlier to help me be a little more organized.
I tend to ALWAYS over-pack. My sister actually just texted me saying, "Remember...not the whole closet!"
Even though I'm only going away for a few days, I need options...

"Choices! I need choices!"


So I hope this list will help you all out when it comes time for packing for Spring Break or any trips you may be planning!

Also, if you didn't already notice, I changed my blog name. I was going to bed the other night, and as always my mind doesn't stop thinking about random things, when this name just popped into my head and I was like, "Ooo I like that!" I like how it looks/sounds and I just feel like it makes more sense and fits me more!

I'm super excited to go to spend some time relaxing at home with my family & also a whole day in New York City on Saturday, though I'm definitely not looking forward to the early wake-up call!

DENIM ON DENIM

The weather in Oneonta has been so beautiful, warm and sunny lately and I am loving every second of it!
Over the weekend I got together with two of my friends and we had a little photo-shoot.
I wore denim on denim because why not?!
We took tons of pictures so I have a lot of favorites to share!

FAVORITE LOOKS | GRAMMY'S 2016

Hello everyone!
First I would like to say that I will be switching up my scheduling of posts a little bit. I've discovered that my schedule works better if I post new content on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and one weekend day.
Now onto today's post!
My suite hosted a little Grammy party get-together with our friends and it was so much fun. I love watching the red carpet and the performances.
So here are some of my favorite looks from the red carpet!
Everyone looked so stunning, I especially loved Charlie's glitter suit!
I'm also happy some of my faves won awards like Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Justin Bieber of course!

VALENTINE ♡ FUN

Happy Valentine's Weekend loves!
I'm completely in the Valentine's Day mood!
I just got a "box of love," as my mom calls it, from my family and I also wanted to share some cute, pretty little things that are affordable and can make for a great gift for a gal friend, a girlfriend, or even to treat yourself! All these items are from Forever 21 of course, because when do I not online shop there?

In my box of love I received the tassels from Target that I had left at home before move-in day, an adorable little elephant stuffed animal, a ton of chocolate, and my sister bought me Calvin Klein socks! So this led me to redecorate my dorm & take some fun, Valentine's Day inspired pics!

ATHLEISURE

Dressing up simple outfits or dressing in "athleisure" is my favorite lately!
Today's outfit was perfect for the sunny weather and comfy enough for walking around campus.
My trench coat is a few years old from Forever 21 but here is a similar one.
I have this crop top in 3 different colors and actually just ordered 3 more colors because I wear them so much, and with everything! They're also only about $2 each here.
To dress up any top, my go-to accessory is this layered necklace set. This one is not sold anymore but Forever 21 has great ones like this one!
As for shoes, my absolute favorite pair right now are these little black leather, heeled booties I scored on a sale rack for $15 at Rue 21! You can find similar pairs just about anywhere, here is one of my faves.
Lastly, I borrowed on of my roommate's super cute adidas cap; definitely have to get myself one of these soon!
